Shut Down Epetition Website: As It's Not Fit For Purpose And Is Demoralising.

Petition Details

The website is being run by a bunch of hypocritical, self serving scourge who should be sacked. The site has failed to empower anyone, often resulting in little more that a snotty, defiant retort from the Government that exhibits a blatant disregard for public opinion. And precious little else.

Additional Information

Petitions being rejected due to committee opinion (eg. Ban Islam: rejected because it offended the committee, nothing more than opinion). No petition should be rejected due to personal opinion.

Cheating: (eg. "Ban Donald Trump" had duplicate signatures, none were deleted but the opposing petition "Don't Ban Trump" had 10s of 1000s of signatures deleted. CHEATING!

Too many petitions not being debated (eg. Vote of no confidence in D. Camoron).

Nothing positive accomplished by any petition.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
