Free prescription for life saving drugs for asthmatic's
There are 5.4 million people with asthma in the UK, which means asthma affects one in every 11 people and one in five households.
Three people a day die from asthma.
5.4 million people in the UK are currently receiving treatment for asthma: 1.1 million children (1 in 11) and 4.3 million adults (1 in 12)
Taking asthma medicines regularly as prescribed is the best way to prevent asthma symptoms and a potentially life-threatening asthma attack. So without these we are at risk. There are many conditions who have a valid medical exemption certificate (MedEx) and are entitled to free prescriptions but not asthmatic's, we also need life saving drugs.
