The 2013 Reasonable Entitlement to Posession Act
This Act will empower the Police and Courts to investigate the wealth, status and lifestyle of persons where there is a reasonable suspicion that this has been acquired by Serious and/or Organised crime and this matter has been brought to the attention of relevant bodies by independent and unconnected complainants.The burden of proof shall fall to the person investigated to demonstrate the means by whch they have acuired their wealth and how they fund their lifestyle. Provision shall be made within the Act to remove the obstacle of wealth and property being hidden behind 'front' family members or offshore mechanisms. In keeping with current legal principles in certain circumstances, the Investigated Person shall not have the right to silence without inference of guilt, and refusal to co-operate with Investigators questioning shall be an admission of guilt before the courts.
