Stop bosses from having access to looking at our personal messages.
For those unaware a new law was passed by the European Court for Human Rights which makes European bosses in a legal position to look at their employees internet text communications, such as 'WhatsApp', 'Facebook' and 'iMessage'. This takes away our right of privacy and makes us feel violated.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is not a new law. It is a decision on a particular case made by the European Court of Human Rights. Under UK human rights laws, judges in the UK must take into account the ECHR's decisions but are not bound by them.
You could ask the UK Parliament to pass a law protecting the privacy of employees' personal messages.
