It is discrimination that British pensioner's are loosing winter fuel payments
British pensioners have lost their winter fuel allowance in several countries in Europe.this is discrimination.this is based on the temperature on average in these countries being warmer than the warmest temperature in the Uk.warmest in Uk 14oc average in Greece for example 8oc.
This policy as not been thought through correctly.how can any department forcast 100% what the weather is going to be over a 3-4 month period.whilst 94000 British pensions throughout Europe have had their winter fuel payment stopped,pensioners in Switzerland have not.in Tricola in cental Greece last week temperatures were between +5oc and -8oc.this act by the government is an infringement on our Human Rights under discrimination.i would therefore like to but this petition forward,thank you.
