UK government to support global taxation proposals to offset wealth inequality.
62 people have as much wealth as world's 3.6B poorest but the United Nations have previously urged countries to impose international taxes through carbon, billionaires & currency taxes to raise more than $400 billion a year. Why hasn't this been done? Let's do it!
Here is an article highlighting the wealth divide. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/jan/18/richest-62-billionaires-wealthy-half-world-population-combined
Here is a UN proposal which could use global taxation methods to raise 400 billion per year to assist developing countries: https://www.un.org/development/desa/publications/wess2012.html and http://www.un.org/en/development/desa/policy/wess/index.shtml
