Prohibit employers from passing fines onto minimum wage employees.

It should be illegal for an employer to pass costs incurred through minor mistakes during normal business activities onto their minimum wage employees. Doing so, effectively means the employee is being paid less than minimum wage for the work that they do.

Additional Information

Such costs usually arise through minor mistakes and more often than not, through lack of adequate training, a responsibility of the employer.

These costs are usually insignificant to the employer, but to someone earning the minimum wage, these costs are enormous.
