Parliament To Re-Debate for Donald Trump To Be Banned From UK

Petition Details

The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech. The same principles should apply to everyone who wishes to enter the UK.

Meanwhile Parliment have Decided Not put a Ban in force to stop Donald Trump from entering the United Kingdom despite his Comments, Actions against others.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament have not decided not to ban Donald J Trump from the UK.

The House of Commons debated two petitions on Monday 18 January: one calling for Mr Trump to be banned, and another calling for him not to be banned.

Decisions to exclude individuals from the UK are made by the Home Secretary, not the House of Commons.

In any case, we cannot accept a new petition while an existing petition on the same subject is still open.
