Make the speed limit in country lanes considerably lower or add speed humps
I am a car driver and horse rider, I think 60mph or sometimes no speed limit stated is very dangerous for both drivers and horse riders! There has been various collisions between various cars and sometimes horses! These have been fatal in some circumstances!
Usually country lanes lacks clear view of the oncoming road however drivers will not take this into consideration and slow down! I have witnessed collisions between vehicles, equines and livestock! Horse riders, drivers, livestock and equines are at risk of injury or fatality! This can be prevented by simply adding speed humps or placing a speed limit on these dangerous roads!
