Make employers politely offer employees their chosen pronoun on their name badge
Many more people aren't identifying themselves as male or female or they may identify as one of these but may appear to be of the opposite sex. In retail for instance this can cause upset when customers and even co-workers refer to someone with the incorrect pronoun i.e he instead of they.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The UK Government and Parliament don't currently have the power to make employers offer employees their chosen pronoun on their name badge.
You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law to require any employer who asks staff to wear a name badge to give them the option of including a preferred pronoun.
