Let employees attend hospital app without having to their use holiday allowance
Everyone will need to attend hospital app at some point in their life, for an examination or check up. Employees should not be penalized for taking care of their health and made to use their holiday allowance for such visits. Unlike dentists and doctors, we have no control over date/time.
Myself and several colleagues have had to take days out of the precious 20 we have over the year to attend required appointments. We want to use our holiday allowance to enjoy ourselves and rest, but some of this is having to be used for necessary health checks

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The rules about employees using holiday allowance for hospital appointments are the responsibility of individual employers.
You could start a new petition calling on Parliament to change the law to require all employers to do this.
