Make false accusations of rape and sexual assault an arrestable offence.
It has become extremely popular for women (mainly teenage girls) to falsely accuse male's of rape and sexual assault, and because of this thousands of males are mentally and physical affected. It causes even the best of men suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts despite doing nothing.
Almost all major newspaper companies and many other online news sites have written articles of people anonymously explaining what it's like to be falsely accused of rape and sexual assault. And it's destroyed their lives. Making people judge them badly and giving them bad names even when the case has been dropped by the police. It's highly reported that because of this males have suffered from depression, suicidal thoughts and even worse their trust in people. Ruining their social lives aswell.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you would like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Your petition asks for the law to be changed to punish people who make false accusations of rape.
Making a false allegation of a crime may already in some circumstances lead to a jail sentence - for example, if someone is found guilty of perverting the course of justice. In other cases, people who are accused of making false accusations may be prosecuted for wasting police time.
It is not therefore clear to us how you would like the law to be changed. You could start a new petition asking for a specific change to the law.
