The government need to invest more into mental health, equipping organisations such as the NHS with the appropriate resources and individuals to deal with such issues FULLY, so that they don't reoccur.
'The number of people with a mental health condition admitted to hospital as an emergency is likely to reach its highest level ever this winter, a former health minister has warned.'
Mental Health trusts in England have seen their budgets fall by more than 8% over the the course of this parliament.
At the same time, 'referrals to community mental health teams, which help people avoid being admitted to hospital, have risen nearly 20%' (Source: The Guardian.)
