Stop personal information being sold to any individuals without a valid reason
Presently any individual with a credit/debit card can register on 192.com and make a payment to find out a person's personal details. This can have serious consequences if the individual in question is trying to locate a person to harass, stalk or generally threaten a person's right to privacy.
A disgruntled customer uses 192.com to obtain the employees home addresses to threaten the employees family and intimidate the employees. This could also be used for an individual to track down ex - partners or victims of crime. 192.com do not check whether the persons using their service has a criminal record or give any reason why they want the personal information.
