Rebuild the swimming pool in Swinton
Please replace a much loved and sorely missed amenity in our town.
Too many community buildings are being demolished and soon we will have no amenities left at all.
Recreational facilities in Swinton are in dire short supply and our residents really need this situation to be rectified.
I know a lot of you have cars and don't mind travelling to other towns to use their facilities, but please think about others that don't have cars (or children that can't drive).
Adult swim session + bus travel = £8
A typical family swim of 2 adults + 1 Child would cost £20.40 for one hour of fun.
Also due to bus times, a 1 hour session could take up to 3 hours out of your day.
Please sign this petition and help out your none car owning family/friends/neighbours.
