Rioters shouldn't lose their benefits or homes
Any persons convicted of criminal acts during the current London riots should not have financial benefits removed unless this would be part of the normal process (eg. if imprisoned), nor should they be evicted from their homes. Whilst action needs to be taken, this is not appropriate and such punishments would only aggravate underlying issues and make more likely a recurrence of such events.
