Abolish public transport costs for students 18+
There are financially deprived students who are discouraged from attending University. Abolishing public transport costs could save a student lots of money for necessary equipment; books, stationery. This will also decrease the number of students boarding trains with invalid tickets due to no money.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not responsible for setting fares on public transport.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to provide funding for students' public transport costs.
