Everyday there are more animal cruelty stories in the media.People of the U.K want it to stop.We want punishments to fit the crime.Increase fines, harsher sentencing,lifetime bans, name and shame those responsible.We want a register of animal cruelty offenders to prevent them owning an animal again.

Additional Information

The R.S.P.C.A investigate 150,000 animal cruelty and neglect cases every year.An example of the types of crime animals suffer.
A puppy having its head trapped in a door and a dog shot with a crossbow bolt were among a rising number of cases of animal cruelty investigated by the RSPCA last year.
However, the number of people convicted for cruelty fell to 1,029 from 1,371.
The charity said a total of 20,258 cases involved allegations of deliberate and often violent cruelty.
