Raise the BMI cap for fertility treatment
Currently only women with a BMI of 30 or lower is eligible for fertility treatment.
It has been proven that the BMI system is flawed and does not take bone density etc. into account
I believe that there are many women who have successful pregnancies with a BMI over 30 who are fortunate to not have a fertility problem therefore why should women who have conditions such as PCOS (where it is proven that it is harder to maintain or lose weight with this condition) be penalised and rejected when they are the people who really need the treatment.
