VEHICLE EXCISE DUTY/ ROAD TAX abolish double payments from sellers and buyers
stop double tax payments on vehicles.
if you sell your vehicle mid month the government refund the tax from the end of that month making you pay tax on a vehicle you no longer have. the purchaser then has to pay the road tax from the start of that month before he has even purchased the vehicle.
duty should only be payable from the day you purchase a vehicle and should be refunded from the day you sell or sorn the vehicle.
the seller and purchaser are both paying duty on the same vehicle for one month, double taxation, abolish double taxation
