Petition Details

After meeting with PM David Cameron , it was stated, by the Taoiseach that the Irish vote could determine the EU referendum outcome, so Traoiseach Kenny is advocating, instructing all Irish citizens and businesses in the UK, to vote to stay in.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Citizens of the Republic of Ireland can register to vote in UK general elections. They will also be eligible to vote in the EU referendum.

It is not clear from your petition whether you would like the rights of Irish citizens to vote in UK general elections to be removed, or just their right to vote in the EU referendum.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what action you would like Parliament to take.
