Rename the new London Crossrail line the Elizabeth line when it opens in 2018.
The first Crossrail services through central London will begin in 2018. This petition asks that the Crossrail line is renamed 'Elizabeth' in honour of our longest reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the issue you raise is not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. Crossrail is operated in London by TfL, this issue is therefore the responsibility of the London Assembly.
