Change the laws on begging in the uk

Petition Details

Approximately £1000 is spent of tax payers money on people that beg unagressively per person. This money should be spend on paying for that person to be accommodated and off the streets for a month therefore they are no longer begging or at risk of abuse, illness, or death. These people are victims

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a new petition calling for the specific change that you want to see to the laws relating to begging.
