Government must petition the British people before pledging foreign aid money.
It's our money and we are aware of people within our own country that need help first and foremost. Many, many people do not agree with our tax money being spent on people who claim to be refugees but could be fighting for the betterment of the country they leave. Ask us first !
Statistics are now pointing out that 80 % of the so-called refugees are not in fact refugees at all. It should not be pretended to be in our interest to support economic migrants, if they have needed talents then they should be using them in their own countries to better them and not being funded to come here to the UK.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure what you mean by asking the government to petition the general public. If you would like a referendum on foreign aid, you could start a petition asking for that.
