Introduce tougher new laws and sentences to reduce cruelty to animals in the UK.
On 23rd January 'Elmo' the dog was found abandoned in a cemetery on The Wirral with practically every bone in his body broken. The RSPCA said he'd suffered “an absolute catalogue of abuse” and had to end his life due to the “unimaginable pain” he was in. New laws may stop this from happening again.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear what kind of new laws and sentences you would like to see. You could start a new petition explaining clearly how you would like the law to change, and the minimum sentences you would like to be set out in law.
