Creation of a national Music Day: free music in everyone's local area.
Music Day is an international celebration that has existed in other European countries since 1982, where it has always taken place on 21st June.
On this day there are free performances in both public spaces and established venues it ensures that arts and music are accessible to everyone for at least one day of the year.
We would like to see Music Day made official and for it made easier for people to hold concerts in public spaces on this date, to encourage the participation of all musicians and event organisers.
