Make take away shops use bio-degradable containers for serving food near beaches
I used to work on Brighton beach as a lifeguard. At high tide there would be a line of rubbish, much of it plastic, marking the high tide. As the tide began making its way back out there would be a thick line of rubbish left along the beach... what about the rubbish that was carried out to sea?!!
http://www.theguardian.com/environment/gallery/2009/apr/08/waste-marine-life what happens to the rubbish that is lost to the sea?

Banning plastic from the beaches will not cure the problem but we have to start somewhere.
