Earning your Jobseeker's Allowance.
People who are fit to work and are claiming Jobseeker's Allowance should do 6-10 hours of work in the community (appropriate amount of time to not disrupt seeking a job). This would benefit claimants giving them transferable work skills and a better sense of a role in the wider community. Work could include the maintenance and upkeep of the local area which would bring many benefits to all local residents and give claimants a sense of pride in the community.
