Stop MPs from receiving a £15000 payrise. Give this to our emergency services
David Cameron must be stopped. The decision to give MPs a 3rd payrise of up to £15000 must be vetoed. Our public services is failing at the hands of the Tories. They are lining their own pockets whilst people are dying. All emergency services and NHS should be supported not torn apart at the seams.

The Government and Parliament don’t have the power to set MPs’ pay. That power was given by Parliament to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) in 2010, so that after 2012 MPs no longer had control over their own pay. IPSA conducted a public consultation after 2012 and decided what the salaries of MPs should be after the election.
