Introduce compulsory lessons on mental health to all pupils in high schools.
Increased spending on mental health services is vital; but it's not enough. Starting at high school, people should be taught about the effects and causes of mental health in order to recognise problems in themselves and others, to help sufferers to be accepted into society and less stigmatised.
