Reverse the decision to close Bedford Magistrates' Court.
The county town of Bedfordshire is slowly losing its identity. Our court building with its imposing façade demands respect for the justice deliberated within its walls. To take this away, will rip more of the soul from our town. When will central Government consult us taxpayers?
Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson said: "It will make permanent the delays to the administration of justice that we've seen already. Alongside the threat to the future of the hospital as we know it and the punitive cuts to the council's funding, this is part of a sustained assault on local services."
