Ban the production and sale of fur clothing in the UK
The fur trade is, arguably, one of the most condemned industries not only in Britain, but worldwide. Causing the needless suffering of around 50 million animals every year, it is time to put a stop to this barbaric trade in the UK.
Whilst much of this production takes place abroad, the sale of these products in the UK still supports a trade which is completely unnecessary, particularly now that there are plenty of alternative materials out there which do not involve the torture of animals.
