Age limit social media (Facebook etc) to over 16s.

Petition Details

To many children are either being bullied or using social media to bully someone. We need to help prevent this. Children don't have the understanding and how this behaviour can affect others and themselves.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Age policies are the responsibility of social media sites.

If you would like Parliament to change the law, to make it illegal to offer social media accounts to those under 16, then you could start a petition asking for that.
