Petition Action

Stop antisocial behaviour during parliamentary debates

Petition Details

The practice of jeering and chanting to drown out democratic debate is the uncivilised and embarrassing to modern society. It show a gross lack of respect of differing points of view and intolerable contempt for every citizen of this country. Our parliament should be a place of respectful debate

Additional Information

The outburst of chanting against Jeremy Corbyn would be equally unacceptable whoever is in power. However it has reached a point where it is democracy itself that is being downed out. This behaviour would be illegal outside of parliament therefore why is it tolerated inside?
