Make politicians adhere to accepted appropriate conduct codes in Parliament

Petition Details

The childish behaviour of some politicians is detrimental to the government of our country. This culture of bullying and ridicule is usually stamped out in the playground. Why is it being tolerated in our Government?

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The House of Commons already has a Code of Conduct:

http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/cmcode.htm

If you would like this Code to be changed, to include new rules about behaviour in the Chamber, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what new rules you would like to be added.
