Ensure higher standards of political debate during Prime Ministers Questions.
Standards of behaviour in the House of Commons, particularly at Prime Minister's Question time, have descended into juvenille farce and have become a national embarrassment.
Democracy requires the government of the day is held accountable to the electorate through debate, or valid questions raised by our elected representatives.
Evasion of valid questions by means of childish name calling, insults, personal attack or diverting to unrelated topics is not befitting of any Prime Minister, nor any political leader or MP.
This behaviour is deeply disrespectful to the electorate and we deserve better.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. Were you to submit a petition calling on a specific body or figure to enforce standards, and to define what those standards should be, then we could consider it.
