Controls on ticket prices for football league games in the UK.
It is increasingly becoming an issue in British football where ticket prices are rising year on year. This is effectively creating a culture where the heritage of the sport and nation is becoming increasingly marginalized to the middle class.
The average UK season ticket price in the 'Price of Football 2015' survey conducted by the BBC found that on average the UK Premier League season ticket ranges from £294-£1,014 with the largest amount of these tickets sitting somewhere around the £500 mark. This contrasted with the top flight European teams where the cheapest season ticket ranges between £73.88-£320.90 is outrageous. This issue is reflective of match day tickets throughout the football league and NEEDS addressing.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and Parliament don't control the prices for Premier League tickets.
You could ask the Government or Parliament to offer incentives for clubs to reduce the price of tickets - for example, through the tax system.
