Move capital north rather than spending money on the Houses of Parliament.
Parliament needs more than £5 billion of repairs. Rather than spend this money the building should be sold and parliament relocated to more suitable buildings in a city further north. There is plenty of good value brownfield land and greatbuildings too.
This would relieve pressure and resources on London and the green belt, be a better use of available resouces and reduce costs. Moving parliament out of London would spread opportunity and enterprise. This would make Parliament feel more representative of all the nations and regions of the U.K.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear what you mean by "move capital north". If you would like Parliament and all central Government departments to move to the north, you could start a petition asking for that.
