Our babies under 24weeks matter we should be treated equal. ????????????❤️
I lost my little boy at 20weeks +2days all i was giving was a bit off paper with his date of birth on because before 24weeks its classed as a miscarriage even though i was in labour for just under 3days, I feel like my baby didn't matter to the world.
If my beautiful boy took one breath i would be intilted to maternity leave for 9months. I want to try change this i want the goverment to change their views on us ladies loosing our babies we go though the same thing as a mummy at 24weeks or 40weeks so why do we not matter why do our babies not matter. We are all mum's we deserve to be treated equal and get the rights and benefits as any other mum's not a bit of printer paper and the word miscarriage put in our face every time we go somewhere.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We were so sorry to read about the loss of your son. Please accept our sincere condolences.
We can't accept your petition in its current form because we're not sure what action you would like the Government or Parliament to take. If you would like mothers who lose their babies to be entitled to maternity leave and statutory maternity pay, you could start a petition calling for that. If you would like birth certificates to be available before 24 weeks, you could start a petition about that.
