Call a general election if the UK votes to leave the EU.

Petition Details

If the UK electorate vote to leave the EU a general election should be called to ensure a new mandate to govern is obtained.

The current government will have no real, legitimate mandate to govern if the the UK leaves the current system. Especially as the leader is campaigning to stay in.
