Petition Details

Salieri restaurant a second generation small business on the Strand Northbank is being is being forces to leave by Aviva Investors so they can install a chain name to get better value for their shareholders something an SME they claim cannot bring

Additional Information

Award winning Salieri has been serving customers and dignitaries from around the world for 4 decades. Sammy and his family have dealt with 4 years of building works around them and now they are being asked to leave because Aviva Investors Want to bring a brand name to increase their property portfolio.
We call on government and sme owners around the county to speak up . If at the end of the day corporations can act so immorally what does any of the SME focus really bring the public ?

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to ask clearly for a specific action from the UK Government or Parliament. This needs to be something that the Government or Parliament is responsible for and could do. It's not clear from your petition what support you would like the Government to offer to SMEs. The Government doesn't have the power to force Aviva Investors to change its decision.
