My images on Fb to promote safe driving around horses reached 850,000 in 48 hrs
I am shocked at the number of the comments from horse riders that have been hit or clipped or run off the road by vehicles.
A major drink drive style ad campaign is needed

it is clear from my post and the post showing Mark Evans accident, that there is a huge lack of respect and knowledge from drivers. Drivers must be educated, through the media to drive SLOW and Wide when passing horses. Horses are not like people they cannot leap into a verge to get out of the way. The driver must giver the horse priority and slow down to be sure it is safe to pass.
