Ensure that ALL information regarding the EU referendum cannot be withheld.
The recent refusal to provide free and unrestricted access to information about our dealings with the EU, points to a cover up of information requested by an elected official. We are entitled to that information so that we may make an informed choice in the upcoming referendum.
Iain Duncan Smith requested facts and figures about our dealings with the EU, our trade agreements and data about our trade with the rest of the world. His request was made to enable free and open debate in a democracy about the most important choice the British people need to make in a generation. He should be able to present his argument without hindrance. We should be allowed to make a free choice based on evidence for both sides of the argument.
The Government must provide this information.
