Change The Sexual Offence Act To Make Rape Fairer Based On Gender.
The current definition of Rape within the UK law is unfair. In the current law, only men can be charged with the Criminal Offence of Rape. Women, whom, drug and force men to penetration them are only charged with Sexual Assault which is not the same! Rape is rape and shouldn't be based on gender.
"A person commits rape if they intentionally penetrate the vagina, anus or mouth of another person with their penis without consent." This is the definition of Rape given by the MET Police. In this country only men can be charged and prosecuted with Rape. When a woman rapes a man, she is charged with Sexual Assault which is defined as, by the MET Police as "A person commits sexual assault if they intentionally touch another person, the touching is sexual and the person does not consent."
