Provide a crossing, 20 MPH speed limit and speed camera on Hempshaw Lane
There is an infant and junior school, after school club, church and park entrance all within 300 yards. Serious accidents and speeding vehicles constantly are risks to our children. To provide speed restrictions, an extra crossing or speed camera will help to reduce the risks.
Mile End Lane have a 20mph limit as do most roads with schools on. There has been another series incident tonight where a car has been speeding and hit parked cars. Busses and cars exceed the 30mph and the one crossing is not sufficient. Our children walking home from school or from school to after school club are at risk as are elderly church goers and pedestrians waiting at the bus stops. Please help us reduce the risk there have been enough accidents.
