Ban companies from selling sweatshop made products in the UK
There are children as young as 6 and 7 working 16 hour weeks for as little as 18p an hour. We want the UK government to ban companies who employ people under 16 in factories selling those clothes in this country. We want fair working hours for all and improved working conditions.
If worker were to have their wages doubled that would be a significant amount of money for them but to us it would mean an increase of just 1.8% which is nothing. We want the UK to ban companies who use sweatshops from selling those products in this country. We want the UK government to apply more pressure on the UN to do more to bring a complete end to sweatshops.
