Petition Action

Let people from the age of 16 vote in the EU referendum.

Petition Details

The issue of whether we leave or stay in the EU is one that will have an impact on the lives of the younger generation as well as older generations. I think the fact that we are all going to live in a world effected by this decision gives people from age 16 the right to vote.

Additional Information

Any repercussions of the decision made will change the way our country runs and how we live our everyday lives. I believe that anyone who will be impacted by this should have a say in what happens. For example if we vote to leave and as a result the economy collapses, we are the people who will have to deal with that and have to adapt drastically to it.
