Increase award of Queens Silver Jubilee Medal.
The Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal was created by a Royal Warrant but only 30,000 were distributed in Britain, resulting in only a small number being awarded to members of HM Armed Forces. Subsequent Jubilee medals were awarded to all serving members of HM Armed Forces.
In recognition of all those who served in HM Armed Forces at the time of Her Majesty's Silver Jubilee, the existing monies in the Queens Silver Jubilee Trust should now be used to ensure an equitable distribution of the Silver Jubilee Medal.
