An accused should have the right to total anonymity until a verdict is passed.

Petition Details

The legal assumption that a person is innocent until proven guilty is being degraded by a scandal thirsty media, aided by modern communication technology. An accused should therefore be protected through a legal right to total anonymity until a verdict is passed, in order to receive a fair trial.
