This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government has already set up the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, which is examining whether public bodies and other non-state institutions have taken seriously their duty of care to protect children from sexual abuse in England and Wales. You can find out more about its work here:

www.iicsa.org.uk/

It will examine allegations of child sexual abuse involving well known people, including people in the media, politics, and other aspects of public life.

If you would like the UK Government to take additional action on this, you could start a new petition calling for the specific action you want to see.
